Tim Ponento

Mr. Ponento is responsible for debt portfolio management and assisting in the acquisition, refinance, and construction financing of Equus’ real estate projects. He also manages interest rate hedging and the existing loan portfolio.

Prior to joining Equus in 2025, Mr. Ponento worked in Debt Management and Valuations at Chatham Financial. Before that, he interned with Graham Capital Management as a Macroeconomic Research Intern.

Mr. Ponento graduated from the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Statistics. He remains active in the community as a personal trainer and fitness coach.
