Frederic W. Brown

As Controller, Fred Brown oversees all accounting responsibilities related to Madison Apartment Group.  This includes leading the Madison accounting group in the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly financial statements and assisting in year end audit procedures.  Fred also interacts with various lending institutions and investors to provide financial reporting as needed.

Fred joined the Equus Accounting department in 1998 and then transferred to Madison at its inception in 2001.  Prior to that, Fred worked in public accounting for six years in the Philadelphia area and obtained his CPA license.  He holds a B.A. Economic and Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Ursinus College.
