Equus Capital Partners, Ltd. (“Equus”), a national real estate investment manager, announced today that an affiliate completed the sale of Reserve at Bridford (“Bridford”), a 232-unit garden-style multi-family community located within the expanding Greensboro market. The sale was made on behalf of Equus Investment Partnership XI, L.P. (“Fund XI”), a discretionary equity fund managed by Equus.

Bridford features 19 two-story garden-style residential buildings across a 22-acre site. Residents enter through private ground floor entries, with apartments offering nine-foot ceilings, spacious closets, and pool, pond, or woodland views. Community amenities include a pool with a sundeck, 24-hour fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment, and a resident lounge with complimentary Wi-Fi. Outdoor spaces provide an outdoor kitchen with a gas grilling station, picnic areas, a playground, and a tennis court with pickleball lines and a perimeter track. For added convenience, residents also have a dog park, car care center, controlled access, package lockers, and available garages and storage units.

Since acquiring the property in 2020, Equus has completed interior unit renovations, refreshed exteriors, and expanded amenity spaces to provide an exceptional resident experience.

Located just off the Wendover Avenue exit from Interstate 73, Bridford offers residents convenient access to Greensboro’s and the greater Triad’s major employment sectors and retail corridors. The community is minutes from I-40, I-85, and Piedmont Triad International Airport, the hub for the region’s fastest-growing employment nodes, the location of JetZero’s recently announced new headquarters (14,500 new jobs). Less than a mile away, the Wendover Avenue retail corridor features more than 2 million square feet of shopping and dining, providing residents exceptional accessibility and amenities within the market.

“The Reserve at Bridford demonstrated strong fundamentals that enabled us to successfully execute our business plan,” commented Andrew Holloway, Senior Vice President of Equus who, along with Mike Brower, Senior Vice President, Scott Miller, Vice President, and Anthony Gugluizza, Associate, oversaw the transaction for the firm. “The property’s strategy, combined with the continued growth of the Greensboro market further reinforced the asset’s long-term positioning.”

John Munroe of Newmark represented the seller in the transaction.
